PHASE I: THE TEMPLATE +

Before the blade touches the base, the area must be defined.

  1. Preparation: Shave the recipient area on the scalp to a zero grade. Cleanse with 99% Alcohol.
  2. The Mold: Place a sheet of plastic wrap tightly over the head.
  3. The Trace: Using a permanent marker, trace the exact perimeter of the bald area. This is your blueprint.
  4. The Transfer: Remove the plastic wrap. Cut out the traced shape. You now have the "Negative" of your hair loss.
PHASE II: THE RESECTION +

WARNING: Never cut through the hair. Cut only the base.

  1. Placement: Turn the Hair System inside out (base facing up).
  2. Alignment: Place your plastic template onto the base. Ensure the front hairline of the template aligns perfectly with the front hairline of the system.
  3. The Incision: Using a sharp razor blade or precision scissors, cut along the trace line. Technique: Glide the blade only through the polyurethane skin.
  4. The Finish: Gently pull away the excess base.
CRITICAL SAFETY NOTE +

Always measure three times. Cut once. Once the base is severed, it cannot be rejoined. If you are unsure, we recommend visiting a certified stylist for the initial cut-in.
