Care & Maintenance Guide

Proper hair system maintenance is the key to longevity. This guide covers the best practices for washing, drying, and detangling your ultra-thin skin base system.

I. THE WASH (Hydration Ritual) +

Frequency: Once every 7-10 days.

Detangle: Before wetting, gently brush the hair starting from the tips and moving upward.
The Temperature: Use cool to lukewarm water. Heat opens the cuticle unnecessarily.
The Application: Apply a sulfate-free, moisture-rich shampoo. Stroke the shampoo downward (root to tip). Do not scrub.
The Condition: Apply a deep conditioner. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

II. THE DRY (Structural Integrity) +

The Towel: Never rub. Place the unit in a microfiber towel and press gently to absorb water.
The Air: Air drying on a mannequin head is preferred. If blow-drying is necessary, use a low-heat setting and a round brush.

III. THE SLEEP (Friction Control) +

The Surface: We strongly recommend a Silk or Satin Pillowcase. Cotton fibers act like sandpaper against the hair cuticle.
